Helen´s work is imaginative & full movement, a second nature trait, picked up after her extensive career in dance and theater. The Cuban & Austrian director has a trained eye for visual story telling, she likes “straight to the point” scripts and camera language that captures the essence of the story she is looking to portray. Helen has worked with clients such as Vinted US & UK, Tommee Tippee, Universal Music along with fashion films for independent labels. On top of her short-form work, Helen has dedicated the last 3 years into co-directing her debut feature documentary “ Alma Anciana” about old age, that will premiere in Caminhos do Cinema Portugues film Festival November 2023.
Summer 2023 she was invited to join BAFTA as a Connect member in recognition of her contribution & her promising career ahead.
